Doug Apple is a veteran radio broadcaster, having been in the business since his college graduation. For the last two decades Doug has worked in Christian radio, managing stations in Illinois and Missouri, and now Wave 94 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Communicating the Christian faith is Doug's passion. This has shown in his commitment over the years not only to Christian radio, but in his teaching at churches, public speaking, publishing, promoting concerts and events, working with Christian schools and home-schools, and now with his daily devotional "Apples of Gold."
These commentaries are written each day after Doug spends time in prayer, worship, Bible study, and, as he says, "Just drawing near to God." He continues, "The Bible says that when we draw near to God, then He draws near to us. I take that as a promise, and know that God is with me each morning in a special way...some days more special than others!"
Doug concludes, "I don't claim any sort of divine inspiration. But I do hope that God
leads me as I seek Him. I hope my words are an encouragement, a challenge, a blessing and an eye-opener to start your day."
