| If you talk too long about prayer, you will soon turn to the topic of what’s called “spiritual warfare,” which leads us to our next book: “The Invisible War” by Chip Ingram, published by Baker Books. The Bible makes it clear. If you are a Christian, then you are part of an age old battle being waged. Some people dismiss the devil as a cartoon in a red suit. Others are overly interested in such things. This book will use scripture and the author’s personal experience to lead you to the truth. The subtitle is “What Every Believer Needs to Know About Satan, Demons, and Spiritual Warfare.” The main title is, “The Invisible War” by Chip Ingram.
| Let’s say you’re a busy woman, but you’re not a mother. Well here’s a book just for you: “A Busy Woman’s Guide to Prayer” by Cheri Fuller, published by Integrity. Chapter one opens with a quote from Oswald Chambers who said, “The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from prayer…” How does he do that? By keeping us busy, says Chambers. Does your lack of prayer then make you feel guilty? Forget about that, and pick up a copy of this book, “A Busy Woman’s Guide to Prayer” by Cheri Fuller.
